Parking at Wolt Market Sentrum

Wolt Market is everyone's favourite, people love to order and you guys can deliver a lot, right?  But unfortunately, we are getting an increased number of complaints about courier partners not following traffic rules and misbehaving around Wolt markets, especially around Wolt Market Sentrum. If we cannot change it for the better, this growth might stop and we cannot provide this many orders to you.

To minimize conflicts, with this message we want to discuss those problems, give you guidelines to avoid them, and remind you about the rules you need to follow.

Parking with bikes, scooters, cars and motorcycles

The biggest problem of all, the sidewalk outside Wolt Market Sentrum is a public area, and therefore used by people who live and work there, as well as who use public transportation.

To help you to understand where to park, we have made a map.

Bikes, e-bikes and scooters can park in front of the glass windows with the Wolt-logo, and only there. Please leave your bike in a way that everyone can use the sidewalk safely!

A rule of thumb: Park your bike so that even a wheelchair can still pass by. The street is everyone's, respect that!

If you have a scooter, a motorbike or car you need to leave it in the marked car parking areas - look at the map!  It’s not allowed to park in front of the entrances to the building due to fire safety!

Norwegian traffic and public rules to keep any time

  • It is forbidden to ride on the sidewalks with any type of vehicle

  • Anyone who does that can be fined by the police!

  • It’s not allowed to park in front of the entrances to the building due to fire safety - Again, not only you can get fined, but threaten the safety of others in case of fire

Remember, the Partner agreement requires you to make deliveries professionally and respect Norwegian traffic rules too! It's not only we who ask you to do so but Norwegian law and the Police department. All Norwegian traffic rules have to be followed by everyone at all times.

Hanging around Wolt Market Sentrum

We see a growing number of couriers hanging around and waiting in bigger groups outside Wolt Market Sentrum - even without an order to pick up.

We are happy that we have a community to build among courier partners, but please be mindful of the fact that people live there. Let's respect the neighbours, and avoid noise complaints.

Please stay close only if you have an active pickup. That’s how we can maintain a friendly and safe environment for all and keep Wolt Market open and provide orders to deliver for you.

If we experience any courier not following the rules, the staff of Wolt Market will ask him or her to respect them. If it is not heard, the operations team will take actions with potential consequences.

Remember, the Partner agreement requires you to make deliveries professionally and to keep traffic safety rules too! It's not only we who ask you to do so but Norwegian law and the Police department. All Norwegian traffic rules have to be followed by everyone at all times. Not only couriers but everyone. Driving on a sidewalk with any vehicle at any time is forbidden!

Professionalism is key

The measures described above will hopefully make things easier for you so we can maintain the good reputation and quality service that we have built together with you (and also thanks to you) over the years! Let's try to ensure that professionalism is the first word that comes to mind when someone sees a Wolt partner.

Take care on the road!
