Important update about the Oslo S bicycle hotel

As informed before, we had to remove a few bags from the bicycle hotel at Oslo S. This has been requested by Oslo Kommune as only bicycles can be stored there.

So what will happen next?

We will check the hotel weekly to be sure that no bags are left there in the future.

Only bicycles can be stored, this means that mopeds or other vehicles aren't permitted. Personal items cannot be left there either. Mopeds should be parked in Oslo S P-Hus.

Are you missing your bag due to this?

Please contact us in the Operations chat so that we can guide you through the process. We have seen that some bags were containing personal items, if you are missing something and would like to retrieve it please mention it in the message with a detailed list of the items you are missing.

❗One last but important thing❗

Bags have to comply with Norwegian food safety laws. So even if it seems quite obvious to us that the bags should be stored safely, some bags today were not complying with the law.

A little reminder:

• Bags should always be stored in an indoor clean, dry space. Never outdoors, never in a parking lot.

• The inside of the bag should never contain anything else than food. This means: no clothes, no towels, no helmets. Everything that isn't food related should never be stored inside the bag.

• The bags should be cleaned regularly and thoroughly.

Not complying with this reminder is a breach of contract and will result in termination of the partnership. Food safety protocols are important and have to be respected.
